Multiple sclerosis
The most common disease of inflammatory diseases that damage the covering of nerve fibers (myelin) of the Central Nervous System (CNS). In young adults it occupies first place among the neurological disorders that cause disability.
Multiple sclerosis involves the destruction preferably of the myelinated sheath of nerve fibers, although the nerve fibers themselves (axons) in the central nervous system are also damaged.
Symptoms
Fatigue – Intellectual deterioration – Tremor – Visual field alterations – Disorder in muscle tone and movement – Difficulty speaking, walking.
