Epilepsy

Epilepsy is a chronic non-communicable disorder of the brain, which affects people of all ages worldwide, and is characterized by recurrent unprovoked seizures. Seizures are abnormal, uncontrolled electrical activity in the brain. The main causes are genetics, brain injuries and brain infections. Treatment for epilepsy includes; taking medications, lifestyle changes, and sometimes surgery.
