Arthritis
Arthritis is characterized by the inflammation and increased sensitivity of one or more joints.
It is the increase in size and sensitivity of one or more joints. The main symptoms are joint pain and stiffness that usually worsen with age. The most common types of arthritis are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Osteoarthritis
It causes the cartilage, the tough, slippery tissue that covers the ends of bones where they form a joint, to break down.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
A disease in which the immune system attacks the joints, starting with their lining.
Symptoms: Pain – Stiffness – Swelling – Redness – Decreased range of motion.
