Hair Treatments

We address hair problems with photobiomodulation therapy (PBM), conducting personalized procedures for hair loss caused by diffuse Alopecia, Areata, and Androgenic Alopecia, or what some call Irreversible Alopecia.

Main objectives:

A

Reactivation of hair follicles by inducing the anagen phase.

A

Increase in hair density.

A

Enhancement of hair thickness.

Alopecia areata

Alopecia areata is believed to be an autoimmune disease. This occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys healthy hair follicles. Some people with this condition have a family history of alopecia. Alopecia areata is seen in men, women, and children. In a few individuals, hair loss may occur after a significant life event such as an illness, pregnancy, or trauma.

Hair loss is usually the only symptom. Some people may also feel a burning or itching sensation. Alopecia areata typically starts as one or several patches (from 1 cm to 4 cm) of hair loss. The hair loss most often occurs on the scalp. In some people, it can also occur in the beard, eyebrows, pubic hair, and the arms or legs. Nail pitting can also be present.

Alopecia areata, it is a condition that causes round patches of hair loss and can lead to total baldness.

Androgenic Alopecia

Androgenic Alopecia, also known as androgenetic alopecia or common baldness, is the most frequent hair pathology among men (affecting 1 in 6) and also impacts the hair health of many women.

The main causes of androgenic alopecia are genetic and hormonal factors. This type of alopecia usually manifests in men from the age of 20 or 25 and is identified because the hair follicles in the frontal, upper, and crown areas are more sensitive to the action of androgens (male hormones).

Rather than causing a massive hair fall, these hormones lead to the miniaturization of the follicles (hair thinning or loss of hair density), and if not treated in time, this alteration can render them invisible.

Diffuse Alopecia

Diffuse Alopecia is a type of hair loss that occurs when there is a gradual miniaturization of the hair follicle. This implies a gradual loss of hair. As the hair weakens and becomes thinner, the scalp remains unchanged without any evident irritation or effect. This condition affects both men and women.

Diffuse Alopecia is always associated with another disease, among whose symptoms is hair loss:
